Welcome to NewLife, an application provided by LipoZentrum Salzburg ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the NewLife app (the "App"). By creating an account and using the App, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Purpose of the App

The NewLife app is designed to support women with lipedema throughout their personal journey. It provides tools such as:

• Personal progress tracking ("hero's journey")
• Community and forum features
• Gamification and motivational content
• Reminders
• Secure communication with the LipoZentrum team

The App is free of charge and for personal, non-commercial use only.

We are committed to protecting your personal data. The collection and processing of data within the App are carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy ("Data Protection at LipoZentrum Salzburg: Your Data in Safe Hands"), which forms an integral part of these Terms.

• We make every effort to ensure that the App functions reliably and securely. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
• To the maximum extent permitted by Austrian law, we disclaim liability for damages arising from the use of the App, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
• We are not liable for user-generated content in the community/forum.

8. Termination of Use

You may delete your account at any time via the App. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. You will be informed of any significant changes, and continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Austrian law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Salzburg, Austria, unless mandatory legal provisions stipulate otherwise.
